BIPOC Progress, Equity & Inclusion

BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) progress is fundamental to business growth. To remain competitive amid rapid global growth, advances in technology, and an ever-changing workplace, organizations need inclusive leaders to leverage diversity as a strategic advantage. We enable C-Suite leadership to develop policy to shift culture, help middle managers think about culturally competent leadership and management styles, and encourage employees to think critically about what they know and have learned about race and racism.

Workshops are geared towards hiring managers and corporate leaders. Keynote sessions are geared towards employees. Topics include: Taking a Strategic Approach to Racial Justice & Equity; Being Black in Corporate America; Unconscious Bias; Addressing Micro-Aggressions & Micro-Inequities; Inclusive Talent Management, Allyship & Sponsorship.

Employees will be introduced to concepts of race, systematic racism, learning across dimensions of difference, and leveraging storytelling to build capacity for curiosity and empathy.

How do you equip leadership at the C-Suite/management level for institutional change around racial equity? This suite includes self reflection and your world view, implicit bias and behavior, an examination of issues of race and equity and the impact it has on the corporate environment and exploration of methods for implementing change.

Prior to launching Best Innovations Consulting, Talethea was Global Head of Talent Development at Aon Corporation and was Head of learning strategy for the consulting side of Hewitt Associates to drive business growth. Having accumulated over 30 years of strategic planning, talent management, and leadership effectiveness experience with Scott Paper Company, Shell Oil Company, and Moog Inc., Best continues to be recognized and praised for her focused, collaborative, results-oriented approach.
